End of October

Dacia got the Honor Roll at school so we all showed up for her awards assembly to support her. Like Father Like Daughter!

Dacia went as Hermione from Harry Potter.

Drake is of course Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles.

Our J was Toad from Mario Bros.

We had lots of fun this Halloween with picking and carving pumpkins, being and doing Boos, decorating the house, making treats, school parties, trick or treating and of course the pumpkin run! Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween!

Half-a-birthday-to-me

Sunday was my Half-a-birthday. We celebrated with a couple of pies (because one wouldn't be enough of course!) and my wonderful husband and kids got me the Willow Tree Nativity set. We have been looking for a few years now to find just the right nativity and I'm so happy with the choice to go with Willow Tree.

Pumpkins

For Family Home Evening this week we made a trip to a pumpkin patch to pick out our family pumpkins. We were super impressed with the quality of pumpkins we found (for any of you locals still looking to get some of your own). We got a knock at the door the other night and look what we found!

A plate full of treats and a sign that said we'd been Boo-ed! This is the best booing I've ever encountered!

MLB Playoffs

The Frehners are Dodger fans!

and we are loving the playoffs!

As you can see we had everything from Dodger Dogs to peanuts and Cracker Jacks. We even had blue punch, plates, and glow sticks. We let the kids each pick out a "special treat" which expains the loads of candy/sugar.

We played a little indoor baseball in between commercials...

...which resulted into another Arizona snowball fight of course. I think it's safe to say everyone had fun. AND.. of course the Dodgers Won!

Just plain fun

Dacia attended a rock star birthday party last weekend. Doesn't she look great?GO DIVA DACIA!These two boys have so much fun together. Whether it be playing with play dough or fighting Ninja Turtle style (swimming trunks extra) they are the best of friends and can keep eachother entertained all day long.
